Congrats on reaching the bachelorette planning portion of your wedding journey! We’re here to help make it as easy and pretty as possible.
There are many different factors one may want to prioritize when it comes to planning a bachelorette trip, hopefully the most important one being fun, quality time with your people. And while the “appearance” of having an amazing Instagram-worthy bachelorette party can go a little too far sometimes, there is something to wanting to have a trip that embodies beauty and cohesiveness and allows you to see and do all the things you want to do.
So if you’re someone who values beautiful restaurants, hotels, experiences and things that are generally aesthetically appealing, then we created this mini guide for you - with tips and tricks on how to successfully plan and execute an aesthetically appealing bachelorette trip in a way that’s just right for you and your crew. Read on for more.

Decide what you’d like to prioritize
Given your budget, decide what areas you want to prioritize and splurge in: is it having a really nice hotel / place to stay? An experience or outing? Food and drinks? Transportation? Start your plans here.

If the lodging didn't get the top budget priority, this doesn't mean you have to sacrifice cuteness. Look into smaller boutique hotels where you're going, or a house you can rent that allows everyone to be in the same space together.

Create a cohesive theme or color scheme.
This doesn't have to be intense or super matchy-matchy, but rather some fun, light guidelines so everyone looks like they are in the same group, and so photos look aesthetic and coordinated. Think about sending out mood boards, or trying rental services like Rent the Runway or Nuuly so people can try out fun looks for the trip without having to buy a bunch of new clothes.

Decide which restaurants and bars fit your vibe
Use Opulist’s search page for the city you're heading to to sort through different locations and see which places spark the most joy for you. Filter by category and feature, and enjoy only having beautiful photos to sort through so you can quickly see what’s a fit for your party or what’s not on brand.

Make reservations as far ahead as possible
Once you determine your top places you want to go to, see if you can start snagging reservations for your preferred times, opting for a later time if necessary and just coming early to grab a drink ahead of time (pro-tip: you can usually end up getting seated earlier this way depending on the restaurant ;). If a place you wanted to see is fully booked up, try going there just for a drink or at a different time of day.
Fun photo tips
Bring a tripod with a remote clicker for capturing group photos and for recording silly video clips. Do outfit montage videos sped up to fun music and try to remember to capture some videos while you’re out and about on top of just pictures. Videos always end up being the most fun parts to look back on!
Every bachelorette party is going to be so personal to what you’re looking for, and part of the goal of creating Opulist was to make planning trips like cute bachelorette weekends and romantic getaways so much easier and quicker when you have a pre-curated list of all the best and most beautiful places to choose from. Enjoy!
All locations featured here are Opulist picks. Use the search page to help plan your weekend itinerary ahead of time, or pull it up while you’re visiting to remind yourself of all the beautiful locales nearby. Enjoy your bachelorette planning and trip and happy #opulistgem scouting!
